About Me

Hi, I’m Saba 👋

I grew up in Canada, where universal healthcare was the norm, and I didn’t realize how much that shaped me until later. I always knew I wanted to build things that help people live healthier lives, and for a long time, I thought that meant becoming a doctor.

I studied neuroscience, pivoted into public health, and eventually found my way to New York City, where I earned my MPH and MBA from Columbia University. Along the way, I worked deep inside the healthcare system at places like Cleveland Clinic and NewYork-Presbyterian, learning firsthand how care is delivered, where it breaks down, and who it leaves behind.

That experience is what pulled me toward technology and product.

As a product manager, I’ve worked across clinical operations, member experience, and healthcare infrastructure, optimizing care workflows at Elektra, and most recently at Rightway, an alternative PBM, where I’ve helped build everything from member-facing navigation tools to PBM capabilities and a 0→1 business platform.

I love building products that sit at the intersection of empathy, data, and speed, tools that make complex systems feel simpler, more human, and actually usable.

Outside of work, I am a big foodie, I’m an avid vibe coder, and I’ve trained in Indian classical music my entire life. While living in NYC, I studied at Juilliard, which deeply influenced how I think about craft, iteration, and performance, skills I bring with me into product every day.
